Workplace stress perceptions and well-being
You are being invited to participate in a research study about experiences of workplace stress, workers’ perceptions of stress, and workers’ health and well-being. This study is being conducted by Dr. Kristen Black (email@example.com) and Dr. David Ross (firstname.lastname@example.org) at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
You were selected as a possible participant in this study because we would like to know about your work experiences and how they affect your daily life.
The online survey will take about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Your responses will help us to understand more about the experiences of workers in the legal profession. These results will be used to develop better stress management resources and continuing education resources for various groups in the legal profession. By participating in this survey, you will also have the opportunity to be entered into a raffle for one of fifteen $20 Amazon gift cards.
Your responses to this survey will be completely confidential. We will ask you to provide your email address in order to send gift cards to participants selected in our Amazon gift card raffle. We will only use your email address to send a gift card if you are selected in the raffle.
At the end of the survey, we will also ask if you would like to provide your email to participate in a follow-up study several weeks from now. This follow-up study is completely voluntary and would involve completing short surveys in the morning and evening over the course of one week. You can provide your email in a separate question for information on the follow-up study. After the completion of our study, your email address will be removed from the rest of your responses and replaced with a unique participant number. No identifying information will be included in any report or publication that results from this study.
Your participation in this study is voluntary. By clicking “I have read the informed consent letter and agree to participate” you are voluntarily agreeing to participate and you are acknowledging that you are 18 years of age or older. You are free to stop answering questions at any time or to decline to answer any particular question you do not wish to answer for any reason. If you are younger than 18, do not proceed.
